A workshop on “Leveraging Social Media Advocacy for Environmental and Occupational Disease Prevention” was held during the ANROEV 2011 conference at Jaipur. The workshop was co-facilitated by Noel Colina (IOHSAD) and Linda Reinstein (ADAO).

The participants were introduced to the pros and cons of the internet and various social media avenues available to help strengthen their cause. A demonstration of the social media advocacy tools was given during the workshop attended by close to 20 participants from various countries.
